Kerajaan Malaysia Mengharamkan Golongan Anti Hadis
Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) telahpun mengharamkan golongan ini:

dalam buku-buku yang disebut terdahulu adalah suatu
kumpulan orang yang sesat dan bertentangan dengan aqidah,
syariah dan akhlak Islamiah.

Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberi oleh Seksyen 34 (2) Enakmen
Pentadbiran Agama Islam 1992, Sahibus Samahah Mufti Negeri Perak Darul
Ridzuan membuat fatwa yang telah diputuskan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa
"Majlis Agama Islam dan 'Adat Melayu Perak" Darul Ridzuan pada 2
Jamadilawal 1416 bersamaan 27 September 1995, dan atas titah perintah
Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan mengisytiharkan fatwa tersebut seperti
berikut

(i) apa-apa bentuk, versi atau

(ii) apa-apa terjemahannya dalam apa-apa

Kehadiran suami bukan sahaja sebagai pembimbing tetapi turut menjadi pelindung dan teman kepada Amelia Ong Abdullah di kala suka dan duka.
INSIDEN diculik sewaktu berada di tempat kerja menyebabkan Amelia Ong Mei Ling masih trauma sehingga sekarang. Walaupun perbuatan itu hanya olok-olok, rupa-rupanya percubaan gempar itu bukan sahaja menimbulkan suasana haru-biru dan menggugat ketenangan pagi itu, tetapi meninggalkan kesan mendalam pada diri Amelia.
Amelia atau nama Islamnya Amelia Ong Abdullah dilahirkan di Alor Star, Kedah kira-kira 26 tahun lalu. Sebelum mengucap dua kalimah syahadah, beliau dibesarkan dalam keluarga yang kuat pegangan agama Buddha.
Amelia yang kini bekerja di sebuah syarikat swasta di ibu kota berkata, usaha terdesak pihak keluarga kandung untuk ‘memulihkan’ kembali akidahnya yang dikatakan telah murtad daripada agama yang dianutinya sejak kecil adalah sesuatu yang tidak pernah diduga. Dia tidak menyangka usaha itu sampai ke tahap merancang penculikannya.
“Kekecohan itu berkemungkinan berpunca apabila keluarga mula ‘terhidu’ perubahan yang berlaku dalam diri saya. Ia agak ketara selepas saya berhijrah ke Kuala Lumpur terutama apabila saya telah mempunyai pendapatan sendiri.
“Masa di alam persekolahan lagi banyak yang mencurigakan saya tentang agama asal. Ia menyebabkan saya cuba mencari kebenaran dan kerelevanannya. Pun begitu, semua persoalan itu sekadar berlegar dalam kotak fikiran.
“Untuk menyuarakannya tidak sekali-kali kerana saya kenal keluarga dan masak benar dengan anggapan mereka terhadap agama Islam. Jalan selamat adalah mendiamkan diri dan memendam rasa,” cerita anak sulung daripada tiga adik-beradik ini baru-baru ini.
Amelia yang memiliki darah kacukan Siam dan Cina jika dilihat pada raut wajahnya saling tidak tumpah seperti orang Melayu. Hal ini diakui teman-teman penulis apabila ditunjukkan gambar Amelia hasil rakaman jurufoto.
Meneruskan ceritanya, pengantin baru ini berkata, pengetahuannya tentang Islam bermula sewaktu beliau berada dalam tingkatan empat dan lima. Pergaulan dengan teman-teman yang beragama Islam sedikit sebanyak menarik minatnya terutama terhadap pergaulan, pemakanan, kebersihan, kemasyarakatan dan cara hidup umat Islam.
“Semasa dalam tingkatan enam, subjek Sejarah Islam menambahkan lagi kepercayaan saya kepada agama Islam. Semenjak itu saya mengenali agama Islam dengan lebih mendalam. Sebelum itu saya ingatkan agama ini hanya untuk orang Melayu tetapi hakikatnya Islam ialah agama universal dan bukan milik peribadi satu-satu kaum.
“Di samping itu, banyak perkara dalam amalan agama asal saya yang boleh dipertikaikan terutama dari segi cara penyembahan. Apabila berpeluang menyambung pengajian ke Universiti Malaya (UM) pada 2000, ia merupakan turning point untuk saya menjadi lebih serius terhadap agama Islam.
“Kesempatan berjauhan dengan keluarga memudahkan lagi pencarian saya. Tambahan pula salah satu subjek yang diambil ketika di universiti iaitu Islamic Law mencambahkan lagi minat saya kepada agama Islam,” kata Amelia yang baru mendirikan rumah tangga dengan pemuda pilihan hati berasal dari Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Mas Akmar Rizal Mansor, 29, pada Januari lalu.
Majlis persandingan berlangsung di rumah keluarga suami pada 18 Februari lalu.
Akui Amelia lagi, sikap suka bertanya terutama kepada teman sebilik sepanjang tiga tahun dia menginap di asrama masih belum mencukupi. Lantaran itu, beliau terpaksa membeli buku-buku agama dan mengikuti teman-teman yang beragama Islam mendengar ceramah.
Kehadiran tokoh-tokoh agama ini dipergunakan sepenuhnya oleh Amelia untuk mengajukan pelbagai persoalan terutama yang menyentuh soal akidah dan kepercayaan.
Setelah mendalami rukun Islam dan rukun iman, keyakinannya semakin bertambah biarpun ia diperoleh secara berperingkat-peringkat.
Malah, kata Amelia, beliau berpuasa pada bulan Ramadan selama empat tahun sebelum memeluk agama Islam. Yang pasti, bagi Amelia, ibadat seperti sembahyang, puasa, zakat, haji dan banyak lagi mempunyai pelbagai kelebihan sama ada yang tersurat mahupun tersirat.
Seperkara lagi, satu-satunya mukjizat yang sukar dinafikan kebenarannya adalah penurunan ayat-ayat al-Quran dan al-hadis. Kedua-dua sumber ini adalah panduan utama umat Islam dan ia bukanlah hasil tulisan manusia tetapi diturunkan daripada Allah kepada umat manusia.
Menurut Amelia, apa yang terdapat dalam al-Quran itu mencakupi keseluruhan hidup manusia dan apa sahaja yang terdapat di atas muka bumi ini. Malah tidak ada satu bab yang tidak disentuhnya. Oleh sebab itulah manusia diseru untuk memahami isi al-Quran kerana banyak ilmu yang terdapat daripadanya.
Kini Amelia sedang belajar muqaddam dan berharap suatu hari nanti dia berpeluang membaca ayat-ayat suci al-Quran sambil didengari suami dan anak-anak.
Masa berlalu dan selepas tamat pengajian di UM pada 2003, Amelia berjaya memperoleh pekerjaan. Pada masa yang sama dia berkenalan dengan suaminya. Latar belakang pendidikan suami daripada aliran agama merapatkan hubungan antara mereka berdua.
“Mulai saat itu, saya beralih kepada suami setelah acap kali bertembung dengan beberapa kemusykilan. Alhamdulillah, suami dapat dapat menjelaskan dengan cara yang paling mudah difahami.
“Lama-kelamaan hubungan kami menjadi rapat. Sokongan dan penerimaan daripada keluarga sebelah suami telah menambahkan lagi keyakinan saya untuk bergelar isteri,” jelasnya.
Pada masa yang sama, persoalan keselamatan diri terus bermain dalam fikiran Amelia terutama apabila keluarga mengetahui hasratnya untuk memeluk agama Islam.
“Bila memikirkan soal itulah dan melihat calon suami yang beragama dan berakhlak, saya tidak menyesal malah bersyukur kerana memperoleh hidayah daripada Allah,” tambahnya.
Amelia mengucap dua kalimah syahadah di Masjid Al-Mukarramah, Bandar Sri Damansara pada 23 Oktober 2004 dan mendaftarkan pengislaman di ibu pejabat Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI), Jalan Lembah Perdana di Kuala Lumpur.
Menjelaskan hubungannya dengan keluarga kandung, Amelia sekali-kali tidak pernah menyalahkan mereka atas salah anggapan tentang konsep Islam dan bangsa Melayu.
Hakikatnya Islam dan Melayu adalah berbeza. Cuma di Malaysia orang bukan Islam beranggapan apabila seseorang itu masuk Islam mereka masuk Melayu. Ia sebenarnya salah.
Semenjak bergelar muslim, Amelia belum berpeluang menjenguk keluarga kandung kerana insiden penculikannya menjadi salah satu sebab yang menghalang.
“Semenjak itu saya fobia dan takut dengan keluarga sendiri. Biarpun mereka masih belum dapat mengesan kediaman saya namun jauh di sudut hati ini, Allah sahaja mengetahui kebimbangannya. Pun begitu, saya kuat mempercayai dan berkeyakinan bahawa Allah Lebih Mengetahui. Saya serahkan kepada-Nya dan memohon yang terbaik.
“Sikap keluarga yang sukar berunding menyukarkan lagi pembinaan semula hubungan antara kami. Walau bagaimanapun, saya tidak pernah menganggap ini petanda berakhirnya hubungan kami. Hubungan darah tidak pernah putus walaupun kami berlainan agama. Malah cantiknya Islam, ia menyuruh umatnya untuk perbaiki hubungan silaturahim,” kata Amelia yang masih berkeyakinan lambat laun ada peluang cerah untuknya menjalinkan kembali hubungan dengan keluarga kandung.
